Excellent replacement
My old Chamberlain 3/4 HP double garage door opener had become erratic with a failing board, so I selected this as an equivalent replacement. Installation came down to removing the old motor unit, replacing it with the new unit, replacing the wall mounted units, adjusting belt tension and setting up remote controls. There was no need to change the mounting hardware - all the holes were correctly located. I left the belt drive and wiring in place. All this took about an afternoon. The biggest issue was the narrow 6" ceiling clearance that I was working with.
