Tried and proven, I still don't know how they still have these phones new in box, but that is exactly how it arrived. It has worked great. My first smartphone. It comes standard with a 1600 mh battery, which lasts one day if you use the phone a lot. It charges fast about 2 hours, and I ordered a larger battery to try out, and have apps to show power usage for bluetooth and GPS and WIFI to better understand battery saver technology. Overall a very good phone, I have also a Samsung tablet and this is a photocopy of my tablet so I understand the android system. Good/bad about Galaxy S4
If you're satisfied with the stock AT&T configuration of software you'll like this phone. Nice screen, reasonable battery life, 4G modem work well. If you want to customize by uninstalling apps that you don't use or want to install a custom rom you'll be less happy with it. Samsung/ATT have locked the bootloader so it's not possible to just load a recovery app and install a rom of your choice. The S4 gurus have posted work-arounds but it shouldn't be necessary. Earlier Galaxy models were much easier to customize. Do your homework before you buy this or the later Galaxy models.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

I bought this phone a few months ago. I really like it. I've never had a smartphone before so it's taking me a while to get used to it. The feature I like the best is the talk to text feature. It's easy to use. The battery doesn't last as long as I had hoped but maybe it's compatible with other smartphones. I usually have to charge it every night. So far so good with my first Samsung smart phone
I'm not an advanced techie-type person, so I can't say much about specialized features and details. But this phone seems to work well. I previously had two LG G2 phones. I became skeptical about that model due to screen issues. My first I bought new, and after a year the touch screen started to malfunction. I replaced it with a good condition used one, and within two months it began to display the exact same manner of malfunction. So I decided to try another brand. Good phone for a affordable price
The quality of the phone is nice considering the fact that the phone had been used and scuffle marks can be seen on the side of the phone but not enough to cause a problem. What was the problem however is the phone's battery life which actually worries me, Fortunately a replacement battery was sent beforehand. The Samsung Galaqxy S4 is a great cell phone but I recommend getting a good size micro SD memory card to go with it.
The internal memory fills quickly so if you like your apps or take lots of photos, do yourself a favor and get a memory card and learn how to move apps from the internal device memory to the sd card. About half of the internal memory is used for the operating system. Other than that, I really love my phone. It has a great camera and takes wonderful photos. There are later models out there, but the price of the S4 purchased new and not from your cell phone provider is a good deal and won't tie you into a contract.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good phone for a young child
I was looking for a new phone for my 11 year old and decided on this. I am partial to Samsung as I have a Tab S 8.4, a Note 4 and my girlfriend has a Tab 4 7.0 and the S5. This phone doesn't have all the features that the Note 4 or the S5, but it is full of features. My first smartphone I've ever bought
I had a Galaxy Ace 2 that was given to me as a gift and it was an amazing cell phone. But after an accident it was time to upgrade. Now my mom has had the s3 for almost 3 years now and it's an even better phone. So I decided that I wanted the upgraded version of her phone. The s4 is slightly slimmer, it is still rounded on the edges unlike the s5 and up and it comes with an 13 mehapixal camera were as the s3 is only 8 mehapixals.
