This Barnett Raptor Pro STR crossbow is definitely a show stopper! Many other brands of crossbows shoot bolts at 400 fps and over, but not as accurate as this one can! It's quite silent (for a crossbow), very very fast, super smooth and crisp trigger, and accuracy that far passes many of the $1000 + crossbows. It is very sturdy, shoots great and looks great. Nice feel to it, the only problem I see is that when it’s cocked the cams are in a very weird position,string is not level with the cams so I’m going to take it to a bow shop and have it fixed.

This is an outstanding product. Very light and balanced. Very accurate out to 70 yards. I don't need to go further but can. What.a great product. Seller got it out quickly too. No regrets! Love the camo pattern. the 187lb draw is not a challenge with rope cocker. FYI: I'm over 60 years old. The anti dry fire is smoothest I've seen. The trigger creep is best I've seen. I have shot the crossbow about 20 times it was quite easy to get zeroed in the scope works well. 2 things I can complain about. You have to pull the string into the latch quite hard or it won't hook the string, and the bolts that come with the crossbow are cheep. One desinigraded the first shot, the other the fetching ripped off after 3 shots. But the bow is fast. This crossbow was about 8" high at 20 yards after I moved scope forward for more eye relief. After getting this dialed in, it was dead-on at all yardages. Quick, easy to use, and fast bolt speed. This crossbow will flat shoot. I was shooting at 40 to 50 yards and putting arrows in a 4" circle. Could have been tighter with a rest of some sort. Easy to hit spots on a target 2" at 30 yards. The trigger is real good too. Makes it easy to shoot well. I also like the narrow limb span. Easy to keep out of branches. Any gripes are minor -. The cocking rope groove could be a little deeper and unless you're tall you'll have to shorten the cocking rope. Improved on Ghost 400 From Barnett
Upgraded from a Ghost 400 (several years old good xbow also). This bow is lighter and smaller, improved the arrow/bolt holder with brush that holds securely (ghost one broke causing bigger issues), number one improvement by far is trigger pull! Much much smoother, this is the primary reason for changed. I did start with the word "Upgraded" yet this bow was less than 1/2 the cost of 400 Ghost. Still 400 fps so comes with a "Highly Recommend", only thing which is a minor issue is it did not come with a sling (just move from old bow).
