Melissa Frye Slip-On Button Boots with a Supple Black Leather and Buttons
The boots were new and at a great price. They fit perfectly and look very nice for casual or dress up occasions. The boots had paper stuffing and cardboard shapers to help the boots retain their shape. The rounded toe, shaft height, and circumference around my calf were a perfect fit for me. The black leather had no scratches or imperfections. The only concern I have for later about the boots is the amount of traction from soles during wet, icy, or slippery surfaces.

Beautifully made - shipped quickly. Perfect. Classic.
Old fashioned craftsmanship and a classic design. I got my first pair of Fryes in 1974 and wore them for 20 years. They arrived in the box, in perfect condition on time. The 9 is perfect and I wore them all day, on my feet for about 1/2 for that, with a medium weight cotton sock. My feet are tired - I might slide an orthotic in there - but nothing rubbed - bunions are fine, heel didn't slip and they are so easy to get on and off. That's key - I love not having a zipper. I already love these just as much as I did that first pair back in Durango in 74 !
