This isn't the seller's doing; it's how the watch is manufactured. The band/strap combo, I believe, is called a 'deployment' style. Perhaps, it's fine for others but too awkward for me to finagle. Replaced it with a traditional brown leather strap and now it's fine. Will also find a gold colored mesh band to dress it up more but this watch, as is, can go anywhere. Disappointed it took 9 days to arrive.
