    Perfect Fit, Quality Product

    Quality product and perfect fit. No instructions included but as other reviewers mentioned YouTube videos available and installation is easy. I used a universal oil filter wrench to remove the large nut that holds the cartridge in place. Turn off main water, remove screw, removed handle, remove large nut, remove old cartridge, washers, and springs. Insert new washers and springs, and insert new cartridge, screw in and tighten large nut, screw on handle. Turn on main water. The springs underneath the internal washers only go in one way, so make sure you pay attention to that if you choose not to search for online instructions. The large screw that comes with the kit was too long for my application so I re-used the original screw. I have a Monitor 17 series shower faucet.

    Time for the new

    Twenty years ago I had a new shower installed. Over those years faucets wear out. The nice thing about the Delta brand is they don't change them every other year. I have replaced the springs and washer kit many times. This time the handle was geting hard to turn so I decided to replace the entire cartidge. Magic, it now works like new. There is a video on You Tube on how to replace the cartidge.

    Excellent deal.

    #1 Direct fit-yahoo! #2 better plastic than OEM. A lot more slippery & smoother. Works great. Only one glitch. The real problem was the rubber cups that seal on the back side. Be sure to replace those as well.

    20 year old shower works like new.

    Shower faucet works like new again. There are several videos on YouTube to help with the installation. Helpful hint: I put a hole in the bottom of a plastic bag and filled it with vinegar and let it soak for about 2 hours to clean off all the calcium and mineral deposits which made it much easier to remove the bonnet nut that holds the cartridge in place. The price of a strap wrench is well worth it for this job.
