Leave in & do the same with left nostril, but over the sink, and usually you don't have to wait 20 seconds & solution starts draining out the other nostril. I have been using Simply Saline for years. I use it first thing in the morning and before bed at night (a couple of squirts into each nostril), and, if my nose is particularly dry or it's winter, I also use it a couple of other times during the day. It moisturizes the inside of my nose, clears out debris, and, in combination with the Neti Pot, which I use once a day, keeps things clean and happy inside my nose.
