I have been wanting one of these for so so long and to finally get my hands on one I feel blessed. Anyone who has a OEM system ( or not ) and wants to get the most out of their system should have one of these in their vehicle this thing is absolutely phenomenal! I would truly have to say this is hands-down the best processor I’ve ever owned! Easy to use easy to navigate. This is a must-have for any installer, Enthusiast, audiophile. I would recommend this product over anything else on the market at this time and I have had my hands on a lot of different products.I have been wanting one of these for so so long and to finally get my hands on one I feel blessed. Fixed Poor Factory Headunit Sound
I had limited options to fix my Sony Premium Sound in my Ford vehicle. This product allowed me to correct the horrible settings on the factory DSP. Installation was easy and the accompanying software is user friendly. I chose this particular product because AudioControl has been around a while, they put a large amount of time in R&D, and their products typically out perform their competitors. Additionally, they are made here in the US which is hard to come by these days. With the DM-810 I am able to actively crossover my components, set time alignments, and tweak the sound with the 30 band EQ. This removed the muddy sound I previously had with the factory DSP. It is a high investment up front, but this product will be able to be integrated into future systems. Manufacturers are making ... DSP function works great.
In any application, the unit produces a hiss if the gain is raised over 0db. Not a problem if you are receiving a strong input. When used in a Mazda3 2017 Bose, with low RCA output, the output from this unit is noisy which is amplified through amp. Tried connecting amps directly to vehicle, and the hiss vanishes. Does not matter what stage gain you use, there is always some level of hiss with low inputs. In any application, the unit produces a hiss if the gain is raised over 0db. Audio Control professional support and audio adjustment
I have tried different line out out converters and none compare to the Audio Control products. As far as the dsp software goes, absolutely amazing. The best part is Audio Controls customer support. I called them with a few basic questions and the representative linked up to my Audio Control DSP via internet connection, she asked for all the model numbers for my subs, speakers, and amplifiers. Then she adjusted all the crossovers to the manufacturers recommendations. My system sounds absolutely amazing thanks to Audio Control. Don't waste your time nor money on any other products.
