    Works great as an upgrade for an athlon 64 x2 3250e . (It comes up as AMD Processor Model Unknown but works great I have Windows 7 Professional 64 bit installed on the computer with this CPU) I had no problems installing windows with this CPU installed. It runs at a 45 watt TDP and has almost the same performance as the Athlon 64 x2 5000+ (5% Lower) while running a lot cooler. Highly recommended for anyone looking to upgrade a computer that has a socket AM2 motherboard This CPU is perfect in a compatible motherboard for a light internet browsing and streaming computer The performance difference between the Athlon 64 x2 3250e and this CPU are amazing like night and day and stays around 88 degrees farenheit on idle and 111 on full load with an Athlon X4 845 (95 watt tdp) stock cooler

    Low Power Consumption, High Performance, Cheap Price.

    I bought this processor for under 20 dollars for a cheap Emachines mini tower PC with a AMD single core cpu and WIndows 7 installed. Mini Towers like these have low wattage power supplies so you have to careful when upgrading that you do not install a cpu that draws to much power. This one draws low power (about 45watts max) but doesnt run like a low power processor. This thing is fast! The processor dropped right in, and Windows automatically recognized the change in hardware when I booted the computer up, and then automatically downloaded the proper drivers. I verified everything by right clicking my computer and then clicking on properties. When I installed this cpu I also upgraded from 2 gigs of ram ( 2x 1 gig modules) to 3gigs (1x 1gig + 1x 2gig) of ram all for under 30 dollars. The ...

    Nice cheap upgrade for Acer Aspire 5515

    Replaced the stock Athlon 1.6 GHz single core with this and new thermal paste. Laptop runs like new (for a 10+ year old laptop) and multitasks now! Temps sit in the high 70s with both cores loaded up, 40-50s during everyday use. Couldn't be happier with my cheap old laptop
