Great Reel!!
I haven't found anything bad about this reel. I purchased 2 of them and have no regrets whatsoever. As an owner of several other Shimano spinning reels my opinion is slightly biased but the QuickFire II trigger is very intuitive to use and the drag works smoothly. In fact, everything about this reels operation is very smooth! If I had any gripe, it would be using it for an unintended purpose pushes it's limits. It is intended as an ultra light to medium duty reel to be used on the appropriate rod in those categories. So putting 10 lbs. test vs. 6 lbs. test line does create more snarls and overlaps. As long as you stick with the recommended rod actions and within 2 lbs. to 8 lbs. mono... this reel is a solid performer and investment!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
