    Lots of uses and no cable needed.

    I got a separate controller and the wireless control works well. I watched multiple videos so I could hit the ground running on Christmas Day. We took some great family photos when we open presents. I practiced with a controller, with an on-camera flash bracket and with the flash on a stand. I also practiced with a better beamer. I had to hold the head to exactly point it. The flash works well in all options. It opens up a whole world of possibilities for indoor, macro, low light outside, and HSS shooting.

    not a pro solution to the Canon 600

    It's ok. For the money, it's tough to complain. More features than the Canon but the inconsistent flash output makes it tough to use if it's not a backup.

    Goes beyond Canon Features

    Besides being an almost exact functional copy of Canon's 600EX-RT, it adds functionality missing on Canon's. There are modes that allow the flash to work with Nikon iTTL system. Besides, the RT radio works seemlessly with non only Canon's, but it extends capabilities where Canon does not have a solution: You can get an option RT receiver (YNE3-RX) to use strobes, via syncport, and older flashes. Love it.

    Great Professional Flash

    I already own the Yongnuo 600 and I love it. This is my second and I plan to purchase the transmitter soon. I have the Canon flash also, and I would say that this knockoff version is about 70% equal to the Canon. Considering the huge price difference I am fine with that. Learn how to use it and you will enjoy it.

    High quality as expected

    Having used Yongnuo YN560-TX mixed with 4 YN560-III's, I knew this flash would not disappoint. I bought 4 of the YN600EX-RT II with one YN-E3-RT. They are sooo versatile! I use 2 together for quicker recycle time and if needed more flash power. And power they have! You get what you pay, but in this case I got a whole lot more! Excellent build quality, way better camera mounting and now a very good battery door. Highly recommended
