    This repeater is built like a tank...

    I've been working with repeaters for years - commercially and for my Ham radio hobby. You can't get much better than one of these units. They are built like a tank, designed to be abused a little and simply run for years and years with no "fiddling" required. They are rated 100% duty cycle but I dial them down to 60-80% power so they will literally last almost forever. I have never had one fail on me when it was in a cool environment and didn't get hit by lightning. For me, it is a unit you can install, use and pretty much forget about... The only thing you need to keep an eye on is to make sure the fans and air-path are kept clean. Other than that, install it, use it and forget it. Bill - N5MBM

    900Mhz, Quantar Repeater.

    Excellent deal. Others are selling for twice the price! Complete with 48vdc Power Supply, On board Reference Oscillator, and the latest EPIC V, CLN8479 controller card. My unit did not come with the V.24 Modem Card. I applied power to it (48vdc) a dummy load to the transmitter and one for the receiver, connected the UART cable, ran the RSS R14 software, configured the unit, and functions as designed. Get yours before they are SOLD OUT!
