    Hardy, Convenient Without Being too Bulky

    Would have earned that fifth star if Speck had bored out holes for access to all buttons; fortunately, it was easy to carve out the coverings over the volume buttons & top button for easier access (otherwise one must push pretty hard to get the buttons to work under that cover).

    Great tough case & cover for iPad Mini

    This is a stylish case that provides tough protection for the iPad Mini (supposedly to US Military grade drop-test specifications or more) as well as a clever cover allowing angled typing or a viewing stand at different angles. The quality of manufacture is very good and the case fits snuggly to the iPad Mini with a slight projecting lip to protect the screen. The down side is normally these cases are pricey, but this seller was selling at a great low price (even including postage) although it has taken quite a while for international delivery, it was worth the wait.

    Cheaper and Cheaper

    Bought a Speck case made of black material (leather?) when iPad mini 3 was new. Had a snap attachment to close. Pretty good product as it totally protected machine from serious fall but case took damage and shattered. Purchased replacement product I thought was better. NOT. Engineering Specs for Speck (funny) have fallen prey to corporate greed like everything else. I am happy to pay good money for good merchandise, does anyone know how to tell who is greedy and who is fair? Recommendation: Do Not Buy. unless they lower the price to $7.99US (about what it is worth).
