Just got this turntable to use for listening as my old technics sl 1500 mk1 needs service, and I wanted something close. The item arrived well packaged with all accessories. Adustible standoff for pole-mounted speakers
I purchased 2 of these to help save some valuable stage space for my bands. Adjustable, and height-wise they worked out well. Light weight, they can still support relatively heavy speakers. Price point was attractive to musicians on a budget. Ridge on the bottom of the shaft was a good idea, and a rubber ring made it a great one. Helps to socket the base into the top of the subs, without leaning and cause distress to the flange mounting plate. However, I had to attach the rubber piece to the shaft, kept falling off in transport. A small point, but shouldered rubber rings are not common in hardware stores. A second point is the safety insert pin. Nice having it attached to the unit for ready access, but the attachments are not very durable. One pin became detached during shipping. A ... Very Good Pole-Mount Speaker Stand....
I bought these to replace a lost pair of cheap C-3 pole mounts. I own a small sound company, and have used On-Stage tripods for years. These pole mounts are excellent. They are very sturdy and fit more snugly in the top-hat style stand adapters that are in my subs. With the old cheap stands... they would lean a little to one side, once a speaker was mounted on them. I do not have that issue with these. The safety pin has it's own little "dock" when not in use. I like that feature... as they just freely dangle with all other stands I've seen.... often getting caught on various things, when loading and and unloading gear. I have multiple types of subs... some smaller, some larger... this stand adjust appropriately for all my subs... allowing me to get my tops over peoples heads. I definitely ... First of all, it's "On Stage" It is solid and I know it will last a lifetime. It is serving a very important purpose for my newest lights. It's a perfect fit and locks down well. I feel ok putting a $250.00 light on top of it. I would not go with any other brand!
