    Setup as per the enclosed instructions with molding the ear pieces to fit each ear. I’ll find out on the trap line this weekend for sure, but with preliminary testing against the electronic Bluetooth Walkers I have used for the last four months, it appears this pair of Decibullz outperforms the Walkers in an even quieter or muffled experience. I gave them real world testing in one of my son’s crazy loud audio system in his truck. They work !! Thank You.

    I have used this brand of ear plug for several years. Very good for shooting outdoors. Negative comments about inadequate noise blocking are usually due to the user expecting too much. No in-the-ear plug that I've ever seen can block out ALL sound, especially gunshots. The important thing is that they block out enough to prevent ear damage. The noise attenuation on these plugs is sufficient to do that. If shooting indoors, you should "double plug", meaning put ear muffs over these plugs.

    Don't waste your money

    I was very disappointed with this product; especially considering some decent reviews. I went through the molding process twice with the same results. I got a good fit in my ears but the plugs DO NOT work better than my $3 re-usable ear plugs I use for shooting. They are rated 27DB and I thought getting 31DB with these would be worth the money. THEY ARE NOT!!! I read other posts on other sites and this is pretty common. The company just says they can help you get the fit right but in my opinion it is not a fitting issue. The product is NOT what they claim. Mine went straight in the trash!! Very frustrating to spend time working with!!

    Didn't work

    Didn't work. I followed the instructions carefully and did it correctly. They molded perfectly to my ear but once they hardened they did not block out any sounds. I attempted to re-melt them and see if I could get a better fit but you can't start over once you have shaped them. The instructions tell you to flatten them into your ear canal. If you don't get it right on the first try, you can re-melt them but they do not go back to their original shape so there is no way to un-flatten them. I wanted them to block out the sound of my cat meowing at night and my husband snoring. They didn't block either sound.

    Molds but don't fit

    Since the instructions didn't state how long to leave these earplugs in boiling water I had to find better instructions elsewhere. I learned that I'm suppose to leave these plugs in boiling water for 5 minutes. Since I had a glass mug and a glass measuring cup I used those. The earplugs molded fine but after I took them out of my ears and went back the next day to use them they must've shrunk because I could hear EVERYTHING and these didn't fit securely in my ears. I didn't trust molding them again even though it says you can. The foam pieces don't even fit right either. I ended up buying more earplugs because I didn't feel like messing with these anymore. I highly don't recommend these.

    Your hearing is worth it.

    Easy to mold; easy to re-mold if need be. Great sound suppression. I wish the lanyard would come with the plug themselves (as the lanyard is an extra $10); BUT, I think the idea is that these will be so snug and custom-fit, the lanyard is really overkill as far as ensuring they stay put. Overall- obviously these are much more of an upfront cost than, say, the $1 foam plugs. However, its a solid piece of kit and has given me enough of an idea about the Decibullz company to know that their products are well worth the initial cost. Your hearing is an investment; use good products to protect it.
