Hobby class meter with extra features. Light weight, medium-sized meter with good clear display. Does what amateurs need it to do. Even has a temperature sensor for when you want to verify your clothes dryer limit switches are functioning properly. On sale for under $50 is a good value. It's been accurate so far with household mains and stereo equipment troubleshooting. I recommend this DMM.

Great product, níce multimeter. if I could figure out how to use it.
This is a really nice multimeter. I don't use it much and I don't really know how to use it, but one of these days, I'll figure it out. I usually just check my outlets to see if they're putting out the correct voltage. I have used it to check for live wires as well. Truly satisfied with my choice of the Amprobe AM-530 TRMS Contractor grade multi-meter. In the few weeks i've had it i have used it to diagnose home electrical, small electronics and car electronics for myself and friends and family.
