    Over all this book isn't that bad. It could use improvements on plant description and pictures. If you don't know basics on plants and used this book to forage in the wild you could quickly find your self in trouble. The plant pictures in this book are hand drawn, and often lack what the over all plant looks like which makes properly identifying the plant your searching for or trying to identify complicated being there are non native plants that look very similar in the PNW. The recipes in the book are interesting, and a couple I tried are tasty. But if your out in the woods and not at home they are not very helpful as some require ingredients you most likely wouldn't be packing with you while hiking/camping in the forest. More detailed pictures instead of a simple sketch of the plant, and ...
