I haven't sighted it in but I mounted to an air pistol and the brightness is amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to try this on a real firearm. It is a little long at 3" but well built. The reticle selector and power switch knobs are easy to actuate. Great value for the money for all you get, tools, manual, battery. Although battery did not work it was appreciated. Packaging was good also, optic was well protected by foam and boxed. VERY Happy!!! TU

The battery on this particular Red Dot optic did work and I'm very impressed with the build and quality of this item. I'll be trying this optic on a Umarex Trevox with an adapter rail.
