First let me note. : Awesome & Honorable seller. Good product. Strong amplifier, and what I needed for living off grid. Great with the multiple bands, as Verizon here flips between b5 & b13. I'm at 5200' in a forested setting, mountains, and the 2 nearest towers are 9.5. & 12.5 miles away. Had to run 100' of cable up mountain for antenna, and went 30' high in a tree. Actually works great
There are a lot of mixed reviews on these cell signal boosters, so I didn't want to drop a lot of coin right off the bat before I could test one out in some areas I was planning to use it. Turns out this thing actually works pretty good. I bought it to use for my camper trailer when were at certain spots that have a little signal, but not enough to stream music or check the weather forecast. I just mounted the antenna up on the roof of the camper trailer, plugged in the amp and instantly got almost full LTE signal on Verizon in an area where I was previously getting maybe 1.5 bars of LTE signal. It even worked with ATT signal for my friends as well. It even held up through a steady rain that lasted all night (I kept the amp and end use antenna covered in the rain, but it all held up just ... The only caveat as with most of these boosters is you have to be VERY close to the end use antenna to be grabbing that boosted signal. This is fine if you're just hanging around the campsite, but as soon as you step more than 8ft away you're back to where you started. This seems to be common, so be sure to keep that in mind. Overall I would recommend for home or outdoor use, as this particular booster is reasonably priced and worked just as well as the more expensive/well reviewed systems.

I have signal now!
None of the major mobile phone networks have reception in my neighborhood. I decided to see if I could fix that. I installed an app called LTE Discovery and found I had signal on my roof. I learned the frequency, channel and signal strength. I matched those to this booster kit I bought. Install was easy, just don't bend the coax cable less than a 2 inch radius bend. If you do, it kinks internally ruining the coax. Make sure you ground the antenna, I also installed an inline lightning suppressor on the coax cable.None of the major mobile phone networks have reception in my neighborhood. I can watch Netflix and YouTube at any time of day, even when my high-speed service is used up for the month. My band is “5,” and this booster is for bands 12/13/17/5. I barely understood the “band” concept, but I followed the confusing procedure anyway. If I understand it correctly now , it is necessary to determine the band before deciding which booster to order. The booster that I bought off of eBay. The power cord was bad. But I happen to have one and when I use the one that I had it works pretty good. I am still going to keep it but the next time I’ll probably buy a new one.

My house is located in aa area of poor cell reception. Additionally, the insulation for my house is covered in foil which acts as a nice RF shield. I put this system in the attic above the insulation with the indoor antenna installed in a closet in the center of main floor. Using a Network Cell app, I currently, sitting in my living room, have a reading of -95 dbm where I did have a reading of -125 dbm. Definitely a performance increase. Nina, their on line assistant stayed in contact with me if I had questions. My house is located in aa area of poor cell reception.
