Seeing at that this camera has now dipped to sub-$150 prices, it is a steal. Though the fisheye & miniature modes are more parlour tricks than anything (anything to be taken seriously), the camera is still feature-rich and can accomodate most any shooting situation. The main drawback here is easily one of the selling points: the ergonomics. Being edgeless, the camera is more difficult than would like to stand on its own (this failing renders the self-timer function all but useless). Duly, if you have large hands, operating the mini-sized buttons can be an irritant. This really can't be understated; the buttons on the camera are flush, leaving less room for 'feeling out the buttons' as to not have to take your concentration off the subject you are shooting rather than having to focus on not accidentily turning the camera off... for example. All in all, you certainly get $150 worth. Just be advised: the technology inide the camera far outpaces the handling outside the camera.Read full review
The cameras usually defaults to a very high ISO. Higher than necessary it seems, but the 1400 seemps that it doesn't work so. The 1400 now has a THIRD switch between Auto Picture and Movie mode. The Program (manual) mode. This is where the detail comes back into your pictures! Set the ISO to between 80 and 200 and you'll see all the wonderful detail of your subjects! Unfortunately there is no way around this in video mode, so the 720P video is a bit on the grainy side. Still, 14MP for under $150 and in such a compact size, this is a great camera!
The camera is light, i can carry it in my handbag everyday. Also ,i like the black color, it shows the style is cool~ The funtion, it can be set for auto, when you use ,you don't need to reset. And when you take the pic and your hand shake, but it dosen't come out the clear pic . I think this one i must to study how to control this funtion. Anyway, beside this problem , i still feel this one is suit for the people easy to carry and use!
Although this camera is on the small side, it performs grandly. Clear photos, easy to use, and it fits perfectly in my pocket. No bulky camera to get in your way while hiking, etc. And pink may not be your color as it isn't mine, but pink is easy to locate if you've misplaced it or dropped it in a field, etc.

The Elph is a easy camera to use. Takes really sharp pictures. I only have had the camera a few months but have taken many quality pictures. This 14.1 mp is a big step up from the 4.1 mp camera I use to own. Well worth the purchase price of 279.00 with extra battery, 16gb memory card, case, mini tripod and other accessories.
