My son loves his Nintendo Switch Lite. He also has the full size switch that he plays. He uses them both to trade Pokémon with himself in different games. We also use it to play together on the Nintendo Switch Online games through the family plan. The device itself if lightweight and easy to use. So far no problem with the controls drifting like the full size switch has, but it is still new. We did put a grip case on it which makes it a little more ergonomic. Overall, it was a great purchase and serves our family well!!

When I had gotten the switch, I ended up having to clean it as the buttons and joysticks had grime embedded in them. Also, right out of the box it had drift on the left stick. If this was just a used product, I would have cut my losses, but when someone states that a product is refurbished, I expect at least some level of care

The switch lite is an upgrade(?) from my New 3DS XL which I still love. So far I like everything about the Switch Lite except for the size and clarity of text! Sometimes it is unreadable even with glasses and the magnify function. This is a problem I've never had with any other hand held console or cell phone. Some games I've downloaded are not even playable due to this annoying problem. It's added a whole new screening strategy to my game selection for this system. Other than this flaw, I love it. Graphics are crisp and clear, sound is great and Beats headphones make it amazing. I like that Hulu and YouTube are available with flawless playback. Some other platforms like Netflix, Vudu and YouTube TV would be amazing additions. The eStore has an incredible number of titles to offer and the sales are a substantial savings. I haven't tried the online feature and probably won't, I'm just not into online gaming anymore. I'm very happy with the purchase, just wish text was easier to read, that knocked a point off. Nintendo needs to realize that not everybody that use their systems is 15, adults use them as well. I never had a text issue with my New 3DS XL or even my Gameboys!Read full review

After a couple weeks of social distancing I began to realize that this was going to be an ongoing thing. I then had the urge to purchase a game console for my own personal use to make time spent alone more enjoyable. Only a week of owning but so far I love my Nintendo switch and have no complaints. However for other buyers I would recommend getting a micro sd card for more storage since a lot of games do take up space.

I was a little hesitant at first because I wasn’t sure if the Switch Lite was going to be less powerful or immersive as the Switch Console is, but that is not the case at all. The switch lite is beautifully designed with a very crisp and clear screen that is surprisingly big, the joysticks are smooth, and the overall gameplay is lag-free and flawless. The only complaint I have is the button arrangement but this can be changed in the control panel within the settings, but then again I am an Xbox player so the controls are a little off, but you remember the button placement after a few hours. So far, I’m really impressed with this handheld console. On a full-charge playing Animal Crossing, I can get about 6 1/2 hours of full-time gameplay before it needs to be plugged in. I do wish the charging cable was longer as it is pretty short, but otherwise I have NO complaints about the console itself at all. Definitely something to invest in if you’re an avid gamer like me, and being a single-mom this console gives me the flexibility to play my games whenever and wherever I want. If you travel a lot on planes for business or even pleasure, this is something to look into getting. The nintendo store on the console is also very cool. I like that I can go into the store and buy a new game anytime I want and have it digitally downloaded. Also, if you’re planning on adding a lot of games, I highly recommend getting a 1TB MicroSD card as the console itself only comes with 32GB and with Skyrim + Animal crossing downloaded, I only have 4GB of space leftover on the console itself. The console takes up some of that 32GB space with the hardware so really you’re only getting about 24GB, which goes fast. The switch itself is very sturdy and designed to be durable. The screen feels like a thick glass but projects a beautifully clean, crisp, and clear image. I feel like even if you dropped this on the floor, it wouldn’t get damaged at all- it is very thick plastic they used and I’m very impressed. For the price, you definitely get your money’s worth.
