On my gigabyte motherboard I was able to increase the ddr3 ram voltage from the default 1.5v to a safe 1.65v and then I increased the ram multiplier to get the ram speed from its base 1600MHZ to a stable 2250MHZ For this low price of less than $90 delivered for 2 sticks of 8G Ram I would say this is a GREAT deal and my oc hasn't crashed or "blue screened" I did try 2300MHZ ram speed and my oc wouldn't boot but again 2250MHZ has been working perfectly and the RAM is not getting warm when I felt around on the metal heats inked covers so this is GREAT over clickable ram. This first set of ram impressed me so much I also bought a second pair as well for my second overclocked oc & again I overclocked the ram speed with no issues !

I ordered this memory for a dell optiplex 3010 which according to dell has a maximum capacity of 8 gb of memory although I read a number of articles on line indicating that it would accept 16 gb. My computer does not support xmp but the latency of this g. skill memory is a little lower than what I was using. It was detected immediately with all 16 gb available running at 1333 mhz, etc.

My Gigabyte motherboard is a bit finicky when it comes to turbo mode(s). I was to come up with a setting that works really well. CPU and memory performance are enough above normal that the increase is noticeable. The memory is holding up well. System performance with this RAM is excellent.

I saw a 60-75% memory usage load on my 1x8GB Kingston stick drop dramatically down to 10-15% after installing these 2x8GB G Skill sticks. I can multitask much better now and can run memory intensive games like giant Minecraft mod packs that I wasn't able to play well before.

At first my pc did not want to recognize the new ram added, so after messing around to get it to work it finally began reading it… before my hard-drive popped itself and needed replacing. So after a couple of months of use after it’s finally working again, I’ve come to the conclusion it works great and runs pretty fast now compared to before! Only giving 4 stars however because of the fact it didn’t want to work and was hard to install at first.

If you have a motherboard that supports it go with the 32 GB Kit F3-1600C9Q-32GXM. For the Dell Inspiron 660 that Dell says can only handle 8 GB, this kit works just fine and has given me a nice improvement in performance. Highly Recommended!

Fast, reliable and cheap as far as the competition goes. Not the way to go if you're looking to max out but it is a great budget minded RAM.

One of thew chips show the clocking at 11-11-11-28. Didn't look at the other chip. When installed cpu-id showed clocking at 10-10-10-25. One chip must be clocked differently. I thought both chips would be the same as described. Would give it a 5 but since the clocking is different I'll give them a 4.
