If you purchase this for hacking out wall sockets into sheet rock or small trim cuts, this product is perfect. It's a quality and light weight hacksaw with a motor. My only peeve is that the manufacturer isn't making a shorter blade to plunge into a two by four wall. It will work fine in a two by six. It has plenty of power and run time. The trigger control of the speed is great. Sure enough, the manufacturer came out the fuel version which I believe would provide more run time, but for the cost of this little gem I am very satisfied. Having this tool and the Dremel Multi Max, this tool compliments the other. The benefit being I don't need a cord to run to the nearest outlet! Tearing out grout seems more efficient than the Dremel and so is scrapping. Obviously the Dremel has it's pluses, such as flush cutting.Read full review

This little saw comes in handy. I saw my plumber using one and I had to have it. I also have the little Milwaukee right angle drill/driver, which uses the same battery. The battery lasts quite awhile, and extra's can be purchased on ebay for a reasonable price. The little saw is for specialized jobs, like cutting a hole thru plaster and lathe, or cutting a pipe of something else where you can't get the big saw to fit in the space. It's not the last saw you'll ever one, just one of many.

I just can't man handle my full sized sawzall anymore, and cutting smaller items like pipe and conduit was just too dangerous, using one hand to hold the item. This is perfect for light duty, but will cut through a 2 x 4 very nicely. Very smooth, with little vibration. It is hard to beat, if you use the correct blade. Perfect for tight spaces, like under sinks. No it is not a full sized performer, where the object you are cutting is strongly supported, and you can put 2 hands on the saw. But it will easily and more safely beat a full sized saw when you need to hold the item being cut with one hand.

It is a great powerful tool . It cut through a Formica counter top with no problem . I used it also to trim palm frawns high up and it’s lite weight made it easy.

I like the M 12 because it is very light and very maneuverable in tight and hard to reach places: Only time will tell me how good it really is: I use it just about every day; so far it"s great little saw;;
