Good Instruction in Cheng-style Yang Forms - Dated Format
These are some of the best instruction videos for Cheng Man Ching's version of the Yang forms. My only criticism is that these dvd's appear to be direct copies of the 1990's VHS tapes by the same author. The image resolution is somewhat blurry.

Tai Chi for Health - Yang Short Form
The instructor is a superior Tai Chi master. However, the instuctional video is flawed. First, the instructor does not demonstrate the moves as the student would see them in a mirror. That forces the learner to do the opposite of what the instructor is demonstrating. This makes following the moves difficult to impossible. Lastly, at the end when the instructor does the whole Tai Chi exercise as a continuous flow, the camera uses close-ups of his upper body switching from close-up to full body and back. This interrupts the flow and makes the demostration worthless.The instructor is a superior Tai Chi master. However, the instuctional video is flawed. I totally love this video and bough one for a friend as well. Terry Dunn is an awsome Tai Chi instructor. The introduction is beautiful and inspiring; and the instructions by Terry are easy to follow. The Long Form video is a bit intimidating because there are so many positions and one feels overwhelmed and inadequate - but for the beginner this Short Form video is the one to have. Calming, centering and great exercise in the privacy of your home - or if you just don't have the time to take a class.
