I'm a huge Snap On fan. I believe they make the best tools available to the US automotive repair market. I buy them ALOT. I ran across a Matco CFR248LFT at a going-out-of-business sale. I bought it and it quickly became my go-to 1/2 drive tratchet. Over my Snap On gear. It is solid, dependable, and just has the feel that you can trust it. You know - when you're reefing on something and hoping the tool doesn't let go. This tool won't. I can't say that about other brands I have used. The locking mechanism for the flexhead is a key part and is a simple, strong, effective design. My Snap On lockers have a stupid thumb pull design that breaks all the time. The Matco has never even considered moving once locked. These average around $125 used and they are a super value at that price. They are supposedly made by Danaher who makes tools for a bunch of different companies to spec. This ratchet is a winner!Read full review
