Prepare for Outgassing of the Construction Materials
It has a lot of vibratory action. I got an open-box unit that came with no instructions, so I had to experiment. I still don't know about the functions, but you can turn on all the vibrators simultaneously, and that suits me. But, the materials smell terribly. I had to keep it outside, and in the sun for a while, but outside for perhaps a week before the smell was tolerable. And I was concerned about putting it on my bed sheets. I washed the bed sheets after the first use. I will not put it against my skin. It outputs 500 Vm of EMF while it is just plugged in, but no more while operating. I suggest - do not sleep on this. That is a toxic level. But it does put me to sleep - a deep sleep. I am just not confident that the benefits outweigh the harm(s). It has a lot of vibratory action. I have serious back issues. I sleep on this mat. I have brought several of these. They work great when they are new. The vibrating motors have a hard plastic case "cushioned" by thin cheap foam that compresses so much it does not work. I have to find a place to lay so I am not on a motor. The motors go bad too, get loose and make so much noise I have to turn that section off. For what you pay they should last longer, but what do I expect from china. This product is best used by persons of under 5feet 3inches tall. None of the vibratory motor devices match up with the intended massage zones on the average western caucasian body, since most of us are well over 5feet 6 inches tall. Should work very well on persons of Asian descent who on average are not nearly as tall as westerners. Works well but does not fit.

So far a great massaging mat.
This is a vibrating mat only, not a kneading or tapping mat. Many people prefer vibrating mats because it is widely believed that they increase the flow of blood and help increase bone density. This mat h s three intensity levels and five modes. Also it has a heat button that can be turned of and on. Everything is controlled via a remote. The remote is easy to use and probably most users will stick to their preferred settings. The mat is quite thick and rather comfortable. If I were to find cons, then probably it would be the small balls that are embedded in the mat. They are quite hard to the touch but you really don't feel them when the mat is in operation.
