    Eclectic mix of jazz, funk, swing, standards, and R&B

    A perfect sampling of the music from one of the greatest indie films to hit the streets. This CD has everything. If I had to complain, and this is really not a negative about the CD as much as a small gripe because I love the song, the only thing missing is Heart's "Magic Man". That song was on the movie but I understand that it didn't fit in with the rest of the offerings in this compilation. A quick rundown of my highlights for you: Dean Martin croons "You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Loves You" and it still sounds classy, cool; "Paid for Loving" is a funky song, heavy on the funk guitar, with sappy-smooth vocals; "With Plenty of Money and You" by Tony Bennett and Count Basie and the Boys, come on, it's a Vegas standard; three offerings by Big Bad Voodoo Daddy with "You and Me and the ...

    Get it! Great mix of artists and music styles.

    Perfect soundtrack with popular and obscure songs. I can listen to it over and over. I bought it because I saw the movie and loved the music. I really like "Goove Me" by King Floyd "Knock Me A Kiss" by Louis Jordan. It's got everything from Big Bad Voodoo Daddy to Tony Bennett. It reminds me of how music is such an important part of storytelling in movies such as Reservoir Dogs or Pulp Fiction. This is the second time I purchased this album.
