The lifeguards are as beautiful as they are stupid and the lives of the beach crowd are in their hands. This BAYWATCH spoof is full of crude sexual humor and double entendres and has won a cult following of dedicated viewers with its unbridled comedy. Timothy Stack stars as Notch Johnson, a pasty middle-aged lifeguard with a knack for action and being very theatrical. He leads a gang of lifeguards that includes bathing beauties B.J. Cummings (Jaime Bergman) and Kimberlee Clark (Kim Oja). Howard Stern was an executive producer of this slapstick satire.

    Fun, campy and raunchy. The euphemisms are so bad they are amusing.

    Great scenery, and the beach is not bad either. Sophomoric humor but a fun cast. Take it for what it is worth. I like to shut down and pretend I am young again sometimes. Have a cocktail, or whatever, sit back and enjoy.

    Son of the Beach Vol 1

    I had forgot how funny this show was until I bought the box set. This show was made by Howard Stern. The humor is really adult oriented. It is a parody of Baywatch, in whuch lifegaurds protect the beach from various villians like the Mob and the Mayor of the town always out to get the main character of the show, Notch Johnson. Alot of the characters have names that adults will get. The humor isn't for everyone though. Each episode has special commentary by the star of the show. It doens't contain many special features but it is well worth buying if you like good fun adult humor. I know I plan on buying Vol 2 as soon as it releases.

    NO FILTER RAW ADULT COMEDY 5 STARS ALL THE WAY TO THE NOTCH!

    This show is a classic collectors shelf series. I dont have much of a collection of anything but i surely have this. There is no filter in this show, definitely not watered down like how hollywood and tv shows are now. Purely Raw Adult Comedy. Wish they kept this show going!
