I loved this show .This DVD spotlights a lot of music legends in their younger days. The variety of guests featured is wildly diverse, from Cher, (pre nose jobs) to a slicked down almost unrecognizable Willie Nelson.Linda Ronstadt with her breathtaking beauty, and Ray Charles being Ray Charles in their 70`s clothes are worth the price of the DVD. But, the glue that held it all together was the staggering talent of Glen Campbell. The casual way he does the most amazing guitar work is so decieving that many often overlook his virtuoso talents as both a singer and as a guitarist. John Hartford was on the show, and the weekly music session was always fun. Unfortunately, his version of his own "Gentle On My Mind" clearly shows why he is remembered as a songwriter, not a singer. Glen Campbell has been largely ignored in recent years for a variety of reasons. This DVD will remind a lot of folks of what they have been missing. Don`t miss it.Read full review
Made in 2005 before Glens problems started. As one who watched many of Glens tv shows of 60s and early 70s. This is a very good show as it is naratted by Glen and shows segents of his #1 show. He had on the top singers of the day. They mostly did duets. This a fun trip in the way back machine The money was not wasted.

If you are a fan of the Glen Campbell Good Time Hour, broadcasting in the late '60's, this is a great compilation of moments taken from the show. The video and sound quality is acceptable, and it brings back many memories of Glen singing with Linda Ronstadt, Johnny Cash, Anne Murray, Roger Miller, Rick Nelson, and others. My favorite song from this video is Glen with Bobbie Gentry. Another cool addition to this video is that it is interspersed with an older Glen reflecting on the show and his duets with these artists. Worth owning....
This is a must for any Glen Campbell and country music fan. I loved every minute of this DVD. From Glen today introducing each item, to the songs, guests and the humour. If you know and love his songs you will will this DVD.
