The product wasn't what I expected, I got a much different mug than was shown, but maybe there were a variety of them and that wasn't clear in the description. The tablets themselves are also crystalized and white on the surface, but tasted very good when made! Which maybe they were frozen in transit perhaps. Overall very good seller, just disappointed I didn't get the mug pictured when that's why I ordered it.

Bought this receiver to go with my Monster powered sub-woofer. It worked really well and sounds terrific at just a two channel stereo receiver.
I bought this surround sound Onkyo receiver to use with my Monster powered sub-woofer. It's really clean and sounds great! I'm using it as a two channel stereo unit with my original Advent loudspeakers and a Pioneer vintage turntable to listen to vinyl LP's with. It was easy to install and works perfectly right out of the box. Onkyo TX DS484 5.1 channel 375 Watt Receiver
I purchased this receiver on eBay recently because I needed an inexpensive, but good quality, receiver. I bought it for $55.00 plus shipping - not bad for something that listed for over $250.00. It is an older model - late 90's I think. Although this one met MY performance needs, these models seem to have a display problem as mine is extremely dim but legible(I knew this b4 purchasing it though). And I am sure it will only get dimmer with use. The receiver has a dimmer feature but this is not working on mine. I also saw another one on eBay that had a display that did not function at all. Without the display working, you cannot see how you are adjusting all of the 5.1 parameters. This is important if you are using it as a 5.1 receiver. It is also important so you can see what radio station ... I purchased this receiver on eBay recently because I needed an inexpensive, but good quality, receiver. It is also important so you can see what radio station you are listening to, etc. If you just need an amplifier, you don't need to see the display so this is a good way to get a cheaply priced, but good quality amplifier. But if you can get one with a working display, you will have a nice 5.1 receiver. For a low cost receiver, this unit is well made and has discrete outputs mounted to a large heatsink. I can only speak of the FM stereo sound and sound using a CD player as that is what I use mine for. It has ample power for a small living room, den, or bedroom. It sounds well (this is coming from an audio nut who owns other more costly Onkyo and non Onkyo equipment). And as long as you don't push it too far volume wise, it probably would make for a nice surround sound system. I can say that the front, main channels (rated at 55W each) sound well. This receiver is rated at 55W into 8 Ohms (for each 5 channels) plus it has a subwoofer output so you can connect a powered subwoofer to it. It has many inputs, including a phono input, a coaxial and a optical digital input. You can't use 4 Ohm speakers with this receiver (6 Ohm minimum) though. I am using 8 Ohm speakers. FM reception is good (I receive most stations with a low cost 300 Ohm dipole antenna). I like the analog bass and treble controls. But I also like the precision volume control. I would have to guess that Onkyo just got in a bunch of bad displays or display power supplies as I still rate them very high quality for the money. And I would buy another one in the future should the need arise. I hope this review helps you.

We have had this receiver/amp since it was new. Similar to a Sony radio that my Mom bought in 1968 that we use daily in the bathroom in the morning, this is the best value for the dollar that I can imagine. - - - The system has Dolby 5.1 which requires getting into our brand new LG television with a service .wav file (through IR connection) and resetting the LG's optical audio output. This little beastie supports a variety of concert hall echo options. Great sound. Customizations that go with much more expensive boxes. - - - After 15 years regular use, it is every bit as good as on Day One. We have replaced the wires and side/surround speakers and the front woofer. No temptation to replace this honey. Apparently it runs relatively cool -- might last forever.We have had this receiver/amp since it was new. Works Great, not very powerful but clean sound at max volume
Nice small amp with some decent surround modes. I would recomend using 6 ohm speakers as it has a hard time pushing my 8 ohm Bose speakers. If You buy one with a channel not working like this one, check the Power Output Transistors to make sure the lead is not curled and shorting on a resistor. Easy fix.
