Haynes Repair Manual, 05-14 Jeep Grand Cherokee: OK, but...
The manual on Jeep "WK" and "WK2" models covers a a lot of territory: a 10 year production span, 6 engine types (does not cover 3.0 l diesel), several transmission types and 2/4-wheel drive trains, any number of electrical and trim options, etc. It covers all this in about 300 pages, a number of which are spent on general information such as generic body work advice, routine tools, spark plug condition chart, etc. This is approximately 50% the size of their manual for the previous ZJ Grand Cherokee model ('93-98). Admittedly, new cars are increasingly complex and truly thorough manuals would be beyond the scope and cost expectation of many DIY readers. It is what it is- a good introduction and detailed enough for some repairs and maintenance tasks. The bottom line is that it appears ... Final hint to manual authors/ editors: at least mention the tire pressure monitoring systems somewhere in the well-worn tire maintenance advice.
