Stampedes and Indian attacks build tension, but it is Dunson's ironfisted leadership that causes the most problems, finally bringing the action to a boiling point that pits father against son. Classic Old Western and Cattle Drive
It arrived promptly and I watched the movie tht day. What a great oldie! Montgomery Clift played an unusual part, and very well I might add. Loved it and plan on watching again in the future.

I think this is one of the best westerns ever made and probably John Wayne's finest roll. Gritty, honest, some of the best filming ever. Loved it.
