    Works great.

    Replacement for a MS461. Original cylinder & piston was ran with straight gas (vs oil & gas mix), scored cylinder from metal on metal. After four days I received this replacement. I disassembled and removed the old cylinder/piston/rings and installed the new ones. Tuned the carbarator, after a week of use (professionally) the saw is running great. For less than $100 I was able to salvage a saw costing over $1,000. Very pleased.

Pros: powerful, can use large bars, stihl quality Cons: heavy If you are not going to fell large trees or buck large logs you could get lighter 362 or 262

    Stihl MS461 power head

    I bought a Oregon 24" bar for it and the saw doesn't ever try. It can cut through any piece of wood out there. It fires right up first pull and always runs great. It's the last saw I will ever own, I can purchase parts for it in the future, so I will never let it go.

    TOP OF THE LINE

    Been in the tree business for 20 years or so , and this saw goes above and beyond .. I actually like it better then my MS 661 which basically has the same power .. look on u tube .. Amazing ...
