Outcast: The first in the new STAR WARS Saga
The first of a nine book series, "Outcast" sets up future events perfectly and is a great start to the new Saga in STAR WARS. One of my favorite things about the book is that although there are hundreds of Star Wars books, most of which are interconnected are require you to read them all. This book, however, is a great starting point for anyone who would like to read STAR WARS books but isn't sure where to begin. The book itself has 3 main plots: One with Luke and his son Ben (my favorite), one with Han Solo and Leia (slow, but interesting), and one with Jaina Solo trying to discover the mystery behind why a Jedi Knight has gone insane (this is important for the next books in the series). All in all I think it is a great book, but I wouldn't recommend reading it unless you plan on ... Great Book for all ages... Leaves you on the edge of the Star Wars Saga in the Fate of the Jedi series I would recommend this book to others. Theirs more I wish I could share but I wouldn't want to ruin the plot for anyone... It truly is good book Pick your self up a copy asap...

An interesting set up to a new 9 book series
Fate of the Jedi: Outcast is a hardcover book written by Aaron Allston. IT is the first book in a 9 book story arc in the Star Wars Universe. Outcast is set two years after the death of Darth Caedus. The book deals with the fallout of the Jedi's decisions during the second galactic civil war. Using legal mechanisms Chief of State Daala presses a legal case against Luke Skywalker that eventually causes him to be banned for 10 years from the Jedi! As a result Luke goes on a tour of Jacen Solo's force learning path from 10 years ago. The book is good and sets up the rest of the series. The Solo/Lando subplot is slow though.
