Genuine HP is the way to go
I bought a set of refurbished printheads to get a yard sale DesignJet plotter up and working. Those were really false economy because they have failed one by one at the most inopportune times. This Genuine HP printhead worked right out of the box, was delivered promptly and at a great price!

Performs per HP specs
This item though expired works perfectly. If you install and note that it shows only FAIR condition, turn off the printer, set the date back to a month or two after the expiration date on your computer, turn printer back on, and you will see that it will report as GOOD. The condition reported has nothing to do with condition but with age. I believe that they are mfg to go 15,000 copies. So if you haven't hit that number and the printing is OK, but condition is reported as less than GOOD, don't worry about it. This is HPs way of selling replacements for GOOD products. ***Don't forget to set the date back on the computer. If you don't turn the computer and printer off the printhead will continue to report as GOOD. This is the same thing you need to do if your HP printer ... This item though expired works perfectly.
