Rods had pits and had a lot of finish problems on critical surfaces, some had chamfers that were indistinguishable from which side had the larger chamfer. I won't be using this in my engine, and will probably buy a different new set instead.

If you do this long enough, you get a bad review, but........Feedback left by a novice who doesn't know what he's looking at. The chamfers on a Chevy rod do not dictate how the rod is orientated upon installation. Bearing tangs towards the pan rail and the rod is in correctly no matter which cylinder it's installed in. Nobody in the industry re-machines the factory GM chamfers, NOBODY. i personally inspect every rod that's packaged. 40 years doing this!CHECK REVIEWS FROM OTHERS!
