Buy It Used
Technology is rapidly evolving in the CD Player industry. 10 year old "State of the Art" product while still sounding very good is surpassed by the advancements in DAC's and Transports. BUT if your looking to by 10-15 year old technolgy, buying a Denon CD Player is a pretty safe bet. This DCM-370 5-Disc Changer may be a bit noisy in the operation end but musically it's perfectly acceptable in your second, third or in my case fourth music system. Considering your spend is less than half of a "reconditioned" unit (sure they carry a 30-90 to 1 year Limited warranty)or you puchase it at about 1/4 of the cost of a NIB kind. Features are perfect on this unit and I would highly recommend it to anyone searching for one on the web/ E-Bay or Craigslist. Maybe you'll get lucky and find one in a ... Denon has great sound...
Although the item arrived with a slight dent on the top left front (it is used), the sound is really good. I've never had a Denon before, but have had a Harmon Kardon, and this is easily as good or better. I think I will consider getting Denon stereo equipment in the future.
