  • Great beginner lens for the price

Little more difficult to use with your canon than the manufacture lens and takes some practice but quaility is great and images perfect once you get how to utilize the lens with your camera. Price is easier on the wallet and well worth the time before going the more expensive route to see if you will actually use a lens with this much power. Zooms in up to around 150-200 yards easily.

  • Good value for the money

I needed a lens with a quite long focal length. Advantages of this lens: fast focusing and realistic picture for little money. Plus compact size. The disadvantage is the lack of image stabilization. Although long-distance shooting is still better to do on a tripod. I'm new, so practicing in shooting distant objects such lens enough for me. Perhaps in the future it will be necessary to buy a more sophisticated lens with a long focal length class L.

  • Sigma 100-300mm f/4.5-6.7 DL for Canon EOS

Decent lens for the novice photography, I personally think it is a great bang for the buck for under 80 bucks. Anyone selling one for more, I suggest you pass and buy another lens.
