    HP BACKUP , BACK IT UP , BACK IT UP do as I say not as I do! Monthly BACKups very necessary.

    Took the drive out of the ESD BAG. Installed ACRONIS True Image 8.0 . Connected IDE to my IDE / USB adapter. ( Running Windows XP.. I used it forever .. Very Stable OS. Plugged it into my USB port. Instantly configured as a USB storage device. Acronis checked drive and copied all files from my Old 80 GB SATA to my new IDE .. WD 250 GB . SO now I feel happy. Got Hacked a YR ago by a Ransom ware group out of Europe. Wanted $1000.00 for 2024 bit encription code. ( Nope) Lost a lot of stuff. All my three HDD got Encripted. No EXE's just all my saved (data. XXX) file. Word, Adobe really sucked , opened a file I expected from FED-EX (wrong FED-EX) .BACK IT UP word of ADvice, Files are really inexpensive VS CLOUD..
