This book is a great edition to add to your young reader's library. The stories are interesting and the reading level is just right. It uses foundation reading skills using phonic rules, contractions, -ing endings, and good picture cues for the reader. Student can read top line of page only to start with and parent read the bottom line of the page until student gains confidence. Loved the Book.
This is the second book I purchased. My kids loved the first one so much that while fighting over it, they ripped the cover off. The stories are short and wonderfully illustrated. I would let my son listen to the CD as he "read" the book for bedtime. He is not readying yet but we had read it together quite a few times and he could follow along in the book while listening to the cd.

This is a delightful children's book! The stories are precious and the illustrations very sweet. The accompanying CD is a wonderful addition to the book. Great for in the car or at rest time at home.
