Vintage "pure nickel" Fender bass strings.
Good sounding bass string on par with other brands that are (significantly?) more expensive. Not (quite) as bright as stainless... which is fine by me. Good life and tone stands up well to reasonable age.

There are more expensive strings out there but none sound better than Fender. Get the low mean sound or the warm comfortable sound, all with one set of strings.

I like so much the touch of these strings, well balanced with the amount of bright that I like, good deep end, but too thick for my taste. I have to give a try to 45-100 ones. So far, very good set of strings for finger style.
