I have been using this pc for a few weeks now and am very happy with my purchase so far.
PC shipped scarily fast. Seller quick to respond to a question. Showed up packed in a still-inflated bubble wrap thing. Advertised certified refurbished. The product I received was exactly as advertised. VERY clean. Looks unused.
The white spots on the screen in my picture is just dust from my house, not the white marks you see commonly on these laptops.

I’m very satisfied with the laptop after installation. The only thing I was not particularly happy about was the product packaging, but there appears to be no damage to the computer. Tape was loose in the box and it began to come apart a little bit but the plastic bubble protected it.

It arrived 2 days early, and this HP EliteBook 840 14" was exactly as described, i.e., it was offered as a "certified refurbished" and indeed looked just like new and unused. The packaging included excellent cushioning and a sturdy box.
The computer operates well, the battery gave me more than 6 hours yesterday and still had about 30% left. My only complaint is that setting up a paid one-year subscription to Microsoft 365 is a pain, but that is Microsoft's fault, not this seller or this HP.
