    For Fans of the GeForce FX 5200

    If you're a fan of older computer games played on older computer systems, there's a good chance you're a fan of the GeForce FX 5200. It's one of those iconic pieces of hardware that has left its mark in PC and PC gaming history. The FX 5200 was available for the PCI or the AGP bus in different configurations; this one was for PCI with connectors for 2 VGA displays and came with 256MB of memory. One VGA port goes to my monitor; someday, the 2nd port will go to my wall-mounted TV. Although it has a connector for a 2-pin fan, this one was simply equipped with a large (nice looking), aluminum heatsink and no fan. While this makes the card perform silently, I prefer to cool the GPU with an aftermarket fan (see pictures). I hated to remove that beautiful aluminum heatsink but I can't have ...

    Nice PCI Solution for decent Video Quality

    I purchased this card go go into an Ex-Server Mainboard which didn't have a PCI-e or AGP slot. The card went into the PCI 66 Mhz slot nicely and enabled me to resurect an old server board as a decent workstation PC. This is not a great gaming card, as the NVIDIA hype would suggest. It does a completely acceptable job with business graphics, including some design and video apps. I also got the Zotac version which seemed to outperform the PNY version of the exact same chip n specs.

    Inexpensive Dual View Graphics for almost anything with PCI slots

    Good, inexpensive dual monitor solution if all you have available is standard PCI slots. I'm using this on a Tyan S2882 board. I was able to easily configure dual view in both Debian & Ubuntu Linux with the arandr utility using the opensource default drivers. I can play a different video on each monitor full screened without any problems. Full screened flash videos play great in the browser. The heat sink on the GPU seemed to run kind of hot, It wasn't difficult to apply new thermal compound to it - which helped cool it down. Make sure your box is well ventilated...

    Perfect

    Used for a P4 retro gaming rig, works with Windows 7 but currently using on Windows XP Media Center Edition. Plays Half Life 2, Unreal 2004, Medal of Honor Allied Assault, Torch Light II and many more older games just fine.

    Great Retro Card!

    Awesome card to use for retro PC gaming. Works well with late 90s and early 00s games. Also works well over PCI bus, I'm sure AGP cards perform better but the motherboard I'm using doesn't have an AGP slot.
