    Excellent Value

    No power cord or usb cord (Item description stated this so I knew it wouldn't), but regardless it works like new. Perfect to keep in my laptop bag in case I need it. * note to any buyers. You will need the proper USB C cord that is capable of handling 4k video and charging. $10 usb C cords don't do that so be sure to read the description carefully. *Note your power supply will need to be at least 90 watts for video, 65 watts for charging only. I used a g1 power supply that was 90 watts that I had laying around, but had to buy a $4 adapter since this uses the g5 and newer plug.

    Perfect for my needs.

    I wanted a docking station that would connect to my laptop via USB-C, AND that had a power cord. Some docking stations do not have a power cord for charging the laptop. This one is great for both. Bought it used on Ebay, initial out of the box testing worked great. Have not connected for full time use at this point, but I am sure it will work well.

    USB c docking G4

    Works with G7 845 laptop. Make sure to get an HP USB c data transfer cable to avoid monitor issues. Power supply needs to be at least 95w to have all functionality. This dock does not support USB c to display port protocol.

    a great docking station from HP.

    i thought i was going to need to issue a return till i realized i needed a larger power brick than came with my laptop. this dock requires at least 90w power brick. the 45w brick that ships with the laptop will not power up the device. with proper power it functions perfectly.
