Seeing how I just got this vx3, two days ago, how can you give it a fair assessment. So I’m evaluating the one I bought in 1976 , I put this on a Remington 700 in 270 with weaver rings. The only time I ever had to readjust the scope is when I changed ammo brands. My friends I shoot with and hunt always get a kick out of me checking the zero before buck season. 3 shots dead on. This scope has never fogged up or any other problems.I’ve never owned any other scope than leupolds, I shoot a lot and I watch people all the time with these junk scopes made in China, you get what you pay for, save up a few extra dollars and buy the best. You’ll never look back. No leupold didn’t pay me to say this,

Bought it for an old Winchester Model 70.264 and it is perfect and spot on. Can't go wrong and worth every penny.

I bought this scope for my 30-06 rifle. Seems nice and clear. I have other scopes on other rifles also. I have Redfield Revolutions on 2 other guns and i do not think this Leupold vx3 Hd is that much better for twice the money. The Hd is a good scope but i might look at the Freedom line for the money.
