    Great value gaming and everyday use monitor

    I loved how easy it was to setup and had included cables (favorite being the usb-c!). Great 5k2k 34 monitor that I chose due to price over competition. MSI 34in prestige fulfilled my need for a monitor and delivered beyond my expectations. The strengths of it are the design, price, and ease of use and weaknesses is that a higher stand could be nice

    Superb quality, best bang for the buck!

    The trick to this monitor (especially if using with a Mac) is using SwitchResx to create a custom resolution of 6880x2880 at 50Hz. You’ll need to use the USB-C cable in order to get it to work. Once you create the new resolution in SwitchResx, you’ll need to reboot, login, launch the daemon, then select the 3440x1440 50Hz HiDPI resolution. This will effectively run the equivalent 200% scaling that mimics the Apple Retina display of the 27” iMac, while giving you that additional horizontal real estate.
