    Barnett Panzer crossbow

    The crossbow was easy to set up. Installed red dot from rifle on it shot @ 20yards 6 times to center on bullseye, in 2 shot groups. arrows actually touching each other.. Quiet for a crossbow but most recurve crossbows are compaired to compounds. Not super fast but my longbow isn't and I had no problem with it hunting. Joint problems in hands, elbow and shoulder prevent me from the practice needed to stay good with longbow. I dislike pullys and cables so compound bow is out as are many newer crossbows. This crossbow is just the ticket if you want a nice crossbow at a good price. Powerful enough to take any game in the states providing you shoot straight and get within a reasonable range. You can always buy faster(more dollars) if you need to later. I will be happy with this crossbow for a ...

    Well worth the Money you pay for it.

    I have had both recurve and compound crossbows. Got rid of the Quad 400. A Great bow but not into all the cables and noise it made. I shoot the Panzer V recurve regularly. I love it for it is easy to cock and I practice alot with it. Have had it about a year and a half and shot it more than 9000 times. The only thing I have had trouble with is the trigger assembly. Had to send it back to the factory 3 times on that account. All under warranty. I put a Barnett scope on it (4x32) and can hit 3" target at 40 or 50 yards with it. Keep a good string on it. Also keep the string and receiver well lubed. I tend to get 1000 to 1500 shots out of each string. After having both recurve and compound crossbows, Give me the Recurve everytime.

    Great entry level crossbow.

    This was a great purchase of an entry level crossbow at the best price. Although it's possible for an adult to cock this crossbow by hand, spend some extra cash on a cocking device because it's really fun to shoot. The red-dot scope is cheaply made, but for the price, mine seemed adequate, and I can upgrade my scope later for $50 or so. I'm a nervous shot and the trigger is pretty sensitive, but I still get tight groupings at 20 and 40 yards. I've read some complaints in reviews about trouble with the bowstring fraying, but I've kept mine and the track on the crossbow lubed with the tube of live that came in the Panzer's box, and I've had no issues. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product, and would buy it again. Oh, and buy a target made for a crossbow, like the Black Hole, or ...

    I would buy one again.

    I bought this crossbow for my two daughters (14) & (11). They both love to shoot but can't pull enough to hunt yet. The Panzer V is so easy for them to cock with the crank cocking device and shoot. The scope that came with it was cheap, but I didn't buy it for the scope. After putting on a descent scope it shoots great.

    barnett good product like i said best bang for the buck.

    affordable cross bow,best bang for the buck,alittle noisie on release but ain't no deer getting out of the& it was easy to assemable.
