What a diligent and meticulous seller! Had to contact him for some paperwork and, not only he responded instantly to my request, but offered his willingness to help if anything else was needed. Got the item today, it was very carefully packaged and was exactly as described. Will definitely consider buying from him again.

  • A great model except for one obvious mistake.

As with most Oxford diecast models, it is beautifully detailed. It can be displayed in various ways, I prefer to see it on the ground with the undercarriage down. The only criticism I have is that the engine has ten cylinders instead of nine, rather an elementary mistake as all radial engines have an odd number of cylinders unless they have two banks of cylinders 2x9=18 cylinders.

  • A piece of history

This is a model of the very aircraft (AQ-M) that my father flew on 276 Squadron at RAF Warmwell in 1943. Amazingly, they also make a model of my father's Spitfire, AQ-C. To me, these two lovely models are a wonderful reminder of my father's wartime expreiences. They are really beautifully made, with lots of detail. I could not be more delighted to own them.

  • Nice but...

This a good model with a couple of issues. The most significant being that on one side the undercarriage legs do not fit. One of the three holes is drilled in the wrong place. I had to re-drill it and fill in and paint over the old hole. Not an easy job unless you have modelling skills.

  • Very good diecast for a good price

The quality and modeling are excellent and has very fine detail. The cost is half that of Corgi and in my opinion far better detail and quality.
