It was open box item. I hv been using open box items since years and I know what to expect with it. This item was a mess. It had all hairs in its dustbox. It seems like seller just packed their own robot and shipped it to me. After using it for 2 months now, it just does not work, it gives notification to replace its parts and app does not tell me which part needs replacemenrt. So, it goes in trash tonight. Very disappointed.

    Excellent condition and great resources

    I'll be honest, this laptop has exceeded my expectations. The physical condition is outstanding (no scratches, dents, etc.). The performance, though, is really what I'm most happiest with. It boots into Windows in probably less than 10 seconds. And with the 16GB of RAM, I'm able to run multiple Linux VMs simultaneously in VirtualBox. No buyers' remorse here -- I would not hesitate to buy another one of these laptops if I had the need for one.

    Older Hp Laptops have expanding battery issue

    Be very careful purchasing used hp laptops because the battery can expand destroying the laptop with no warning. The laptop I purchased had the original hp battery and it expanded so much that it cracked the touch pad. Hp acknowledges the issue and claims it’s not a hazard and will not replace damaged laptop or battery if out of warranty. Please be careful purchasing used HP laptops. Lithium batteries can be very dangerous if they expand.

    A good discount laptop when refurbished

    Many reviews online are available of the Elitebook G3, you can read them. I expect this laptop will serve me well. For a laptop, it is fast for complicated statistical methods, and it surfs the web well. The speakers are ok, but are any laptop speakers good?
