My mistake for not reading correctly BEC not suitable for 550 class and bigger class. However, ON THE BENCH, with NO LOAD; the 5amp. BEC could NOT keep the iKon gyro alive. Ironic the 80 Talon has a very good 20amp BEC and this is a 100 with the weakest 5amp. BEC I've seen. Returned it and installed a Hobbywing 120 Platinum V4 with 10 amp. BEC

i am you'sing a rimfire .80 it's the best esc i found to work with this motor you will need a computer and a computer transmitter to program it the right way a analog transmitter will work but you could burn up the motor or esc not worth the gamble
